This past week has literally flown by and today I’m back in Hong Kong.
If you’ve seen the last few ‘Week in Pictures’ instalments you would know that I went back to Australia for my sister’s wedding.
(You can see all the pics from the Hen’s celebration here).
Bridesmaid duties meant that I didn’t get as many photos as I had hoped of all the pre-wedding fun!
But I thought I would share a few moments in the lead up to the ceremony and to show you what a beautiful bride my sister was!
Hopefully I’ll be able to share a pic of Meredith and I when we get the professional photos back!
After the wedding celebrations were done and dusted we spent a day out on the water at beautiful Nelson Bay, just north of Newcastle.
My family gladly played tour guide for our UK friends who had flown out for the wedding.
The sun was shining and the water was literally sparkling. I’m not sure how many times I mentioned how blue the sky was!?
We enjoyed sunning ourselves on the deck whilst keeping a keen eye out for dolphins.
We did manage to see a small pod of dolphins play around. However, they were far too quick for me to get a decent photo!
However, a sea gull did manage to photobomb a photo of Meredith and I. Or maybe it was my Dad’s photography skills?
Afterward sailing we headed up to the Inner Light Tea Room for a lovely lunch with a spectacular view!
If you ever visit the area of Port Stephens, I can definitely recommend you venture up to the Tea House to take in the stunning scenery!
