It feels like ages since I last did a ‘Week in Pictures’ post!

The last few weeks I’ve been busy finishing off my Life Coaching qualification, doing some freelance work, organising our holiday to Thailand and a quick trip to Melbourne plus helping to organise the annual Pink Morning Tea for the Australian Association of Hong Kong!

The Pink Morning Tea was another successful event for the Association and we raised over $9000 for the Hong Kong Cancer Fund!

Thankfully the tail of the recent typhoon disappeared and we were able to enjoy pink Champagne, canapés and sweet pink treats on the Consul General of Australia’s magnificent patio.

(This is where I recently had Sunset Cocktails overlooking the sparkling lights of Deep Water Bay!).

The Grand Hyatt Hotel whipped up delicious pink lamingtons and cupcakes for us and we sipped tea from fine bone china teacups that were decorated with the Australian Coat of Arms (so very posh!).

We also had a fashion parade where some of us Social Committee girls strutted our stuff (and successfully managed not to fall down the stairs!). It was a heap of fun!

My friend Liz and I were also happy that we managed to win one of the great raffle prizes that were up for grabs! (We took this as our reward for the amount of time and effort we invested in sourcing all of the raffle prizes for this year’s event!).

I’m looking forward to spending my $1000 Gift Voucher at Shore Restaurant in the coming weeks!

Our Social Committee (pictured above) did a great job hosting a fabulous event and raising funds for such a worthy cause here in Hong Kong.

I look forward to next year’s Pink Morning Tea….and having a few more of those delectable pink lamingtons!
