This week’s Monday Mantra is quite personal.

A few weeks ago I hastily returned to Australia for my Pop’s funeral.

My dad braved his emotions and got up and spoke about my Pop and the relationship he had with his father.

One of the most poignant pieces of advice that Pop gifted my Dad was ‘Don’t die wondering.’

I’m sure you have heard this phrase multiple times like I have. But sitting amongst the sadness at the funeral, emotions streaming through my body, these words hit hard and deep.

I realised that I don’t want to look back on my life and think, “What might I have accomplished?”

“Who could I have been?” “Did I squeeze every little bit of greatness out of my life and make the most of it?”

So my love-filled message to you is to literally live your life to the fullest.

Step out of your comfort zone and get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

Say ‘Yes’ and say it more often.

If you love someone, let them know it.

Remember that you have precious talents and gifts. Use them. Let them shine

If you have a deep desire to do something, big or small, go out and just DO IT.

Just don’t die wondering.
