Copy That Connects & Converts 2.0

Workshop Wrap Up

I recently ran my second ‘Copy That Connects and Converts’ Copywriting Workshop in Hong Kong and to say it was a load of fun is an understatement.

I welcomed a group of incredible female solopreneurs, small (and big) business owners and entrepreneurs into Sai Wan’s cool co-working space, theDesk, to learn how to write wonderful words that connect and convert their dream clients or customers into a sale.

We took up residence within theDesk’s cosy ground floor and for a solid three hours my guests wrote killer copy about their businesses.

They also enjoyed sharing business ideas and inspiring conversations…and some delicious afternoon tea (more on that later!).

We had a really diverse group of ladies, from coaches, spiritual healers, and product-based business owners attend the workshop and each one got stuck into the writing exercises and asked fabulous questions.

It was an honour to share my copywriting and content marketing expertise with such an engaged and enthusiastic audience!

My Copy That Connects & Converts Workshop guests were lucky enough to have the chance to win one of three incredible Lucky Door Prizes that were donated by my very generous sponsors.

All up the prizes were worth over $1300 HKD!

++ Float On Hong Kong gifted a 60 minute Float Therapy Session (the BEST self-care strategy you could undertake….trust me!).

++ BYDEAU gifted a beautiful bunch of blooms that looked and smelled incredible (All the ladies had their hearts set on winning these!)

++ theDesk gifted a full day Productivity Pass so one lucky winner could experience the multiple benefits of co-working and the awesome atmosphere of Sai Wan.

I love that this copywriting workshop was designed with solopreneurs in mind. As a result I felt understood and I was given very specific writing tools that I could implement straight away.

Many workshops I’ve gone to provided great content but I left feeling lost as to how it applied to my business. But I didn’t feel this way at all after leaving Ainslie’s workshop!

I now feel like I can write great content that’s concise and engaging and will effectively promote my business.

Thank you Ainslie! What a great workshop! I now have a clearer idea of what to write thanks to your Content Power Planner, how to write punchy headlines that capture attention and a better understanding of how to use my personal story to generate sales.

I’m very excited and motivated to get stuck into my copy!

We had a very lively group who enjoyed interacting throughout the workshop, but things really came alive during afternoon tea.

While swapping stories and business cards we enjoyed a delicious array of desserts from another generous sponsor, Sweet Secrets.

We devoured an array of sweets that weren’t only a taste sensation but were gluten-free and refined sugar free!

Our Sweet Secrets Afternoon Tea Menu included:

  • Mini Divine Carrot Cupcakes,
  • Heaven’s Chocolate Cake, vegan (My Fave….not that I’m was just amazing!)
  • Cranberry, Pumpkin Seeds and Oat Cookie, vegan
  • Spicy Ginger Cookie, vegan

Beautiful, delicious, healthy and wholesome…what a winning combination!

It’s safe to say this was the perfect way to end a beautiful afternoon!

I really do love working in-person with like-minded women who have big dreams for their businesses.

A great vibe is generated when you connect on both a personal and professional level.
