The last few weeks have been pretty crazy!

I had a flying visit to Malaysia and then returned to welcome my sister and brother in-law who were visiting HK for a week (SO. MUCH. FUN)!

I once again enjoyed playing tour guide and we covered most of Hong Kong’s hot spots (pretty much the exact itinerary I put together for my parents!).

But this week I thought I would share two of the major highlights!

Birthday Celebrations

It’s pretty hard to top last year’s Birthday, where I celebrated my 30th in Santorini, but this one was pretty damn amazing!

I was lucky enough to enjoy the company of some of my fabulous HK friends as well as have my sister in town to celebrate!

We enjoyed a yummy three-course brunch, free flowing Prosecco and a delicious black forest birthday cake (my mouth still waters when I see the pictures of this cake!).

But I was so appreciative that everyone connected so beautifully (my friends are from all different friendship circles), and that Meredith finally got to meet everyone and vice versa!

This definitely was the greatest gift and made my first birthday in Hong Kong truly memorable.

Trick Eye Museum

Something you must do when you visit Hong Kong is visit The Peak so you can experience the incredible views of the Island, Victoria Harbour and over to Kowloon.

We enjoyed a beautiful blue sky day and the spectacular views, (as you can see below) but we also had an absolute ball at the Trick Eye Museum which is also located up on The Peak!

The four of us had so much fun playing with the optical illusion paintings and installations that trick both your eye and the camera lens.

I haven’t laughed that much in ages!

You will see in the last few photos that we had a little Asian baby photo-bomber!

He was so gorgeous and kept trying to get in all the photos….he just randomly popped up in the elephant shot.

If you ever stop by Hong Kong or you have guests in town, I can highly recommend visiting the Trick Eye Museum. It’s a heap of fun!
